Cards, texts, answers and study history are stored on this device. File transfers happen when you start them; shared backups include your personal content.
Personal photos and voice
Only the photos you select are imported, with location data removed. The microphone is used only when you start recording. These files are not sent to AI providers or ad services. Library backups include them; deck sharing requires a separate choice. If you enable iCloud sync, they are also stored in your own iCloud account.
On-device generation
When creating stories and quizzes with Apple Intelligence, this app does not send your text to a cloud AI service. Apple manages device eligibility and model downloads.
Anonymous usage counts
The app sends daily counts of which features are used (for example, a break finished or the level test completed) to our server. Your account, words, texts and answers are never sent. A random install ID is stored on the server only as a digest that changes every day, so it can’t be linked across days or to your account. Counts older than 90 days are deleted. You can turn this off in You → Settings; doing so deletes the ID and any pending counts on this device.
Payments and access
Apple handles payment; we do not receive your card details. Lite and Pro access use App Store-verified transactions. On-device free generation and preview records are kept in secure device storage. Resetting your library does not renew them.
You're in control
In You → Settings → Your data and backups, you can export your library, clear selected data, and undo the last data operation. Transfer files stay where you saved them; manage them in the Files app.
Optional cloud
When cloud becomes available, you can sign in with Apple. Signing in does not upload your library. Only the topic, selected words or quiz text of a generation you start is sent to the provider shown on the generation screen. Quotes do not send your text. Submitted text and results are stored encrypted for 30-day recovery, then removed. The provider's own retention rules also apply.
Deleting your cloud account
Delete your account, balance and cloud content from the cloud account screen. Identity digests that prevent duplicate purchases or welcome gifts are retained. Manage App Store subscriptions separately; your device library is not automatically deleted.
Protecting your access
Free cloud access uses Apple DeviceCheck. Apple verifies a temporary device token; we do not store that token or a MAC address. Identity digests for promotion eligibility and account restrictions are retained after account deletion to prevent abuse. Types and counts of access-policy violations and security actions are kept for 30 days; your text is not included. Repeated violations may cause a temporary restriction. You can still delete your account and access your local practice.
Your iCloud library
If you explicitly enable iCloud sync, your cards, stories, personal notes and practice history are stored in your own iCloud account. Deletions and the copies you choose also sync to your other devices. This is separate from your cloud AI account and uses no AI credits. Manage its status and different copies in practice settings.
Rewarded ads
When rewarded ads are available, Google AdMob is contacted only when you start an ad. Required privacy choices appear first. Device/ad interaction data and Mola account/viewing identifiers may be processed; your library is not sent. Tracking permission is not requested, and we request non-personalized ads. Rewards are added only after server verification. Pro does not show ads.
